Guest Session at WWI
From Talk to Adoption
Year:
2024
Location:
India

Description:
Context
Following earlier student engagement, I was invited to conduct a session at WWI (Whistling Woods International) for their fashion students.
The session focused on emerging fashion and fabric trends, global influences, and how designers can think more intentionally about material choice and sourcing.
What Happened Next
What stood out wasn’t the session itself, but what followed.
Students chose to work with our fabrics for their fashion show—using them across multiple garments and collections. The brand moved from being a reference in conversation to a material of choice in execution.
Outcome
Full adoption of our fabrics for a student fashion showcase
Strong on-ground visibility within the institute
Reinforced credibility with the next generation of designers
Why This Matters
This wasn’t a sponsorship or placement. It was an organic adoption.
The session translated into real usage, signalling trust in the product and relevance in an educational setting where choices are deliberate.
