Description:
Context
As the brand’s content and industry perspective gained visibility, I was invited to speak at one of India’s top fashion schools to address students on emerging fashion and fabric trends.
The session was not positioned as a brand presentation. The intent was to share industry-facing insight—what’s changing globally, what designers need to pay attention to, and how fabric, sourcing, and storytelling are evolving.
Approach
The session covered:
Key international fashion and textile trends
How consumer behaviour is reshaping design and material choices
The role of accessibility and transparency in modern fashion
Practical ways students can think about fabric beyond aesthetics
The discussion was grounded in real-world examples rather than theory.
Outcome
High student engagement, with strong participation and discussion
Ongoing conversations beyond the session, leading to the formation of a small but active community of aspiring designers
The brand became a reference point for students exploring fabric, sourcing, and global design perspectives
Why This Matters
The session moved beyond a one-time talk. It helped build early relationships with future designers and created a community anchored in shared learning and industry relevance.
